Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

FRONT SIDE DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front door window.
2. Disconnect the power window motor electrical connector, if equipped.
3. Remove the following components from the door:
- The 6 bolts (1)
- The window regulator (2)

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Apply a multipurpose grease to all lubrication and sliding points.

2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Note.

Install the window regulator (2) to the door (3). Secure the regulator with the 6 bolts (1).

Tighten the regulator bolts to 8 Nm (71 lb in).

3. Connect the power window motor electrical connector, if equipped.
4. Install the front door window.
