Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front exhaust foil heat shield (1).

    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the front exhaust foil heat shield to body retaining bolts (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  3. Install the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side (6.0L Engine)  or Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side (3.6L Engine) , Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side (6.0L Engine)  or Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side (3.6L Engine) .
  4. Lower the vehicle to the ground.
