Rear Object Sensor Replacement

Remove rear fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement

Rear Object Sensor
Tip:
- Do not refinish previously painted sensors.
- Press tab to release the sensor from the retainer.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Paint the new rear object sensor. Refer to Basecoat/Clearcoat Paint Systems
.
- Using a paint thickness gage suitable for non-ferrous metals, ensure paint thickness does not exceed 6 mils. Refer to Paint Gages
