Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying Ground Strap To Chassis Retaining Bolt

  1. Install the ground strap (1) to the engine compartment.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the ground strap to engine block retaining bolt (2) and tighten to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
  3. Install the ground strap to chassis retaining bolt (3) and tighten to xx N.m (xx lb ft).
  4. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
