Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Fig 1: Identifying CMP Sensor Electrical Connector

  3. Remove the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector (1) from the CMP sensor (2).

  5. Remove the CMP sensor to engine front cover retaining bolt (1).
  6. Remove the CMP sensor from the engine front cover (2).
