Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector (if fitted). Refer to Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement
  3. Fig 1: Identifying Left Front Impact Sensor To Front End Module Retaining Bolt

    IMPORTANT: The radiator top mounts can be taken off and the radiator lent back to aid in removal.
  4. Remove the left front impact sensor to front end module retaining bolt (1).

  6. Remove the right front impact sensor to front end module retaining bolt (1).

  8. Remove the front impact sensors (2) from the front end module (3).
  9. Remove the front impact sensor electrical connections (1).
