Ground Points

  1. Ensure following ground connections are clean, tight and free of corrosion. Check engine ground strap (between body and bottom right side of engine).
  2. Check EZF ignition control unit grounds on right and left front sides of engine compartment. Check left fuel injection and oxygen sensor ground strap located on crankcase bell housing (below left fuel return line).
  3. Check ignition trigger box ground strap in front of right ignition coil. If ground connections are not making good contact, clean and repair as necessary.
