Remove and Replace


924, 944 & 944 Turbo Models
1. Pinch fuel pressure hose closed with suitable clamp.
2. Using suitable back-up wrench to hold filter fittings, disconnect fuel lines. Allow escaping fuel to drain into suitable container.
3. Loosen fuel filter clamp, then remove fuel filter.
4. Noting direction of fuel flow, install replacement filter.
5. Connect battery ground cable, then start engine and check fuel lines and filter for leaks and correct as necessary.



924 & 944 Models
1. The sensor is located in the exhaust pipe and extends through a hole in the sheet metal.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Trace oxygen sensor wire back to plug connector, then disconnect connector.
4. Pull plug off sensor, then remove oxygen sensor.
5. Coat threads of new sensor with anti-seize compound, using care not to get any in the sensor slots, then install sensor.
