Height Control

  1. If rear of seat does not lower uniformly to stops, when operating power seats, determine which motor continues running while lowering seat. See Fig 1 . Operate height control to middle position.
  2. Remove seat. See SEAT ASSEMBLY under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Detach flexible shaft clip from after-running motor. Disconnect flexible shaft from motor. Using a screwdriver, adjust motor by one turn.
  3. Reconnect flexible shaft to motor. Install flexible shaft clip. Install seat and check height control. If necessary, repeat adjustment. Motor may be turned less than one complete turn as required.
