Parking Assist Control Module: Service and Repair

Removing and installing control module for parking assistant

NOTE:
- The control module for the parking assistant is located under the left front seat.
- Before removing the control module remove the ignition key.
- Remove front seat.

Removing control module for parking assistant







1. Unscrew both fastening screws -arrow- from the cover.







2. Turn the cover over and disconnect both electrical plugs.
3. Unscrew the control module from the cover with the two fastening screws.

Installing control module for parking assistant







1. Insert both plugs into the control module until they engage.
2. Fit the control module onto the cover with both fastening screws.







3. Position the cover and screw tight with the fastening screws -arrow-.
