Assembling Frame For Roll-Over Protection System

Install holder for convertible-top compartment lid drive.

1. 1.1. Position holder -2- on frame -3- and secure with the fastening screws -1- . → Tightening torque: 5 Nm
Install holder for control unit.

1. 2.1. Position holder -2- on frame -3- and secure with the fastening screws -1- . → Tightening torque: 5 Nm
Install the fastening angle for convertible-top compartment trim.

1. 3.1. Position fastening angle -2- on frame -3- and secure with the fastening screws -1- . → Tightening torque: 10 Nm
Install the holder stop for convertible top compartment.

1. 4.1. Press the holder stop -1- into the adapter -2- (-arrow- ).
Install adapter for rear cover linkage.

1. 5.1. Position adapter -4- on frame -2- and secure with the fastening screws -3- . → Torque: 10 Nm
2. 5.2. Clean bonding surface with isopropanol before applying the felt -1- .
3. 5.3. Remove protective film and stick felt down -1- (-arrow- ).
Stick on felt tape.

1. 6.1. Clean bonding surface with isopropanol before applying the felt -1- .
2. 6.2. Pull off protective film stick down felt -1- centrally onto the frame surface -2- .
