Installing front belt lock

Information 

Always replace the fastening screws on the seat-belt buckle after customer service and reworking. The micro self-locking screws must not be treated, greased or loosened and then screwed on again.

Information 

When routing the wire harness for the front seat-belt buckle, ensure that it is routed without tension.

1. Tighten fastening screw -3-  until secure Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ft lb.)  .
   WARNING: Incorrect handling of safety bolts

   • Danger of injury
   • Loss of torque

   → Always use new fastening screws and nuts following removal.

   → Observe specified tightening torques.

   → Carry out a visual inspection of all re-used parts.

2. Connect electric plug connection -2-  (-A-  ) until the connector engages securely.
3. Fit two fixing clips -1-  .
