July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

To remove

  1. Remove the battery cover and the battery.

  2. Remove the rim.

    Remove the center and floor consoles .

  3. Detach the air duct to the rear air vent.
  4. Remove the E-circlip and anti-rattle clip.
  5. Drive out the pin while removing the end of the cable from the ball.
  6. Remove the clamp located on the locking catches.

  7. Carefully press the catches securing the cable ferrule towards each other and

    remove the cable from the bracket.

  8. Remove the bracket for the A/C and servo pipes.
  9. Remove the nut for the lever and lift the lever off the gearbox.

  11. Remove the clamp at the cable bracket.
  12. Remove the cable ferrule from the bracket on the gearbox.
  13. Remove the rubber grommet by first pressing it into the car and then pulling it diagonally through the hole.
  14. Pull out the whole cable through the engine bay.
