Calibration Of Steering Wheel Angle Sensor

NOTE: The steering wheel angle sensor must be calibrated after working on the steering assembly and aligning wheel angles. The wheel alignment must be correct before calibration is carried out.
  1. Put the wheels straight ahead.
  2. Connect Tech 2 and select Programming - Steering wheel angle sensor. Follow the instructions displayed on Tech 2.
  3. Read and clear ESP trouble codes.
  4. Test drive the vehicle.
  5. Check for any DTC's that have been generated. If there are any DTC's present, refer to the respective code for fault diagnosis and procedure.
  6. Disconnect Tech 2.
