To remove

  1. Apply wing covers and remove the battery cover.

  2. Undo the battery terminals.

  3. Remove the battery.
  4. Diesel:  Undo the holder for the control module and diesel components and move it out of the way. Undo the holder to the power steering fluid reservoir.
  5. Unplug the bonnet switch.
  6. Undo the cable clamp under the battery tray.
  7. Remove the battery tray and the battery cooling pipe.

  8. Connect 88 19 096 BLEEDING EQUIPMENT  hose to the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder and draw out the brake fluid from the clutch system.

  9. Detach the hose from the slave cylinder connection.
  10. Undo the delivery pipe clip and unplug the ABS control module connector.

  11. Undo the ABS unit bracket. Carefully move the bracket out of the way without bending the connected pipes.
  12. Undo the accumulator connection on the master cylinder and remove the pipe.
