Preliminary Procedure  Remove the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY TRAY REPLACEMENT . Ensure that the shift control range select lever is in the park (P) position. Disconnect the shift control cable from the transaxle range switch lever. Depress the shift control cable retainer clip tabs and remove the shift control cable from the shift control cable bracket.
1	Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Fastener Refer to FASTENER CAUTION . Tighten  15 Nm (11 lb ft)
