Battery

The battery is an electrochemical device which converts energy into electrical energy. The battery also:
- Supplies electrical energy to accessories when the engine is not running.
- Supplies electrical energy to starter motor and ignition system to start engine.
- Maintains electrical energy to accessories when electrical load intermittently exceeds generator output.
- Stabilizes electrical system voltage.
