Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove Connector Position Assurance (CPA) retainer clip. Disconnect cruise control module harness connector. Disconnect cruise control cable from accelerator pedal by squeezing tabs. See Figure . Remove cruise control module retaining nuts and remove cruise control module.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten cruise control module retaining nuts to 53 INCH lbs. (6 N.m). Adjust cruise control cable. See CRUISE CONTROL CABLE  under ADJUSTMENTS.
