Diagnostic Aids

Use scan tool to monitor EVAP PURGE - LOW VOLT or EVAP PURGE - OPEN test with ignition on, engine off. When fault exists, scan tool will display TEST FAIL for both tests. Tests will fail only when device is being commanded off and voltage at PCM is low. Tests update every 100 milliseconds whenever ignition is turned on and device is being commanded off via scan tool or PCM.

Solenoid resistance should be 19-31 ohms.
