Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Removal

NOTE: Fuel tank pressure sensor is located on top rear of fuel tank. See Figure.
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect battery negative cable. Release fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Drain fuel. See FUEL TANK DRAINING . Lower fuel tank. See FUEL TANK . Using a flat-bladed screwdriver, unlatch the retaining arm over the tank pressure sensor.
  2. Disengage sensor from the connector end. Pry up on rear of sensor to assist in removal. Remove fuel tank pressure sensor from fuel tank mounting.
