Installation Procedure

  1. Clean any gasket material from the control valve body cover and inspect the gasket mounting surface.

  2. Install the control valve body cover (2).

    Important:  Use LOCTITE™ 242 thread sealer on ALL bolt threads.

  3. Install the 9 control valve body cover bolts/screws.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Tighten the 9 control valve body bolts/screws in sequence.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the control valve body cover bolts/screws to 13 N.m (10 lb ft).

  5. Install the transaxle oil cooler lines to the transaxle. Refer to Oil Cooler Line Replacement .
