Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair

ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE (ECT) SENSOR

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor electrical connector.
2. Remove ECT sensor.

INSTALLATION

1. Apply thread sealant to ECT sensor threads.
2. Install ECT sensor.

Torque:
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: 18 N.m (13 ft-lbs)

3. Connect ECT sensor electrical connectors.
