Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution .

Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (w/o Sunroof) or Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (with Sunroof) .
Using a small, flat-bladed tool, pry the rearward end of the lamp assembly cover to release the clips.

Slide the lamp assembly cover rearward to disengage the forward hooks.

Turn the lamp assembly back plate to disengage the plate from the headliner.
Disconnect the lamp assembly electrical connectors.
Remove the lamp assembly back plate from the headliner.
