Removal Procedure

- Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .
- Remove the accelerator cable bracket. Refer to Accelerator Controls Cable Bracket Replacement .
- Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor harness connector.
- Remove the MAP sensor (2) from the intake manifold.
- Inspect the seal for damage.
IMPORTANT:
If the MAP sensor seal is damaged, the MAP sensor must be replaced.
