Removal Procedure

Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zones in SIR.
Remove the automatic transaxle control assembly. Refer to Shift Control Replacement in Automatic Transaxle - 4740-E/4T45-E.
Using an electrical terminal pick, remove the solenoid electrical terminals from the connector body.

Using a 5/32 in drill bit, drill out the rivet attaching the solenoid to the control assembly.
