Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement in Steering Wheel and Column.
Remove the multifunction switch. Refer to Multifunction, Turn Signal Switch Replacement in Steering Wheel and Column.

Remove the retaining screw from the windshield wiper switch (2).
Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield wiper switch.
Remove the windshield wiper switch (2) from the column (6).
