Removal Procedure

Fig 1: Removing/Installing Exhaust Manifold Pipe-To-Exhaust/Resonator Fasteners

CAUTION: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in Cautions and Notices.

Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
Remove the fasteners that hold the exhaust manifold pipe to the exhaust resonator.

Remove the exhaust resonator to muffler attachment clamp.
Separate the exhaust resonator from the muffler by pulling and twisting in the opposite direction.
