Scan Tool Output Controls

Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Scan Tool Output Controls

Scan Tool Output Control Additional Menu Selections Description
Lamp Engage Test Special Functions The IPC will turn on all lamps.
ECM Scan Tool Output Controls - 3.0L (L81) and PCM - 2.2L (L61)

Scan Tool Output Control Additional Menu Selection(s) Description
Fan Control 1 Fan Controls The scan tool displays a Commanded State of Off or On. This allows you to communicate with the ECM/PCM and activate or deactivate the cooling fan 1 relay, manually turning the low speed fans On and Off.
Fan Control 2 Fan Controls The scan tool displays a Commanded State of Off or On. This allows you to communicate with the ECM/PCM and activate or deactivate the cooling fan 2 relay, manually turning the Medium speed fans On and Off.
3 Speed Fan Fan Controls The scan tool displays a Commanded State of Increase or Decrease. This allows you to communicate with the ECM/PCM and cycle through all three fan speeds, Low, Medium and High.
