Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Saturn Ion Red Line, 2004 Saturn Ion 3, 2004 Saturn Ion 2, and 2004 Saturn Ion 1. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Place the radio in the vehicle and connect the radio electrical connectors.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Push the radio into position and install the screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  5. Connect the electrical connectors to the accessory trim plate.

  7. Align the retaining fasteners with the instrument panel.

    Push on the outer edge of the accessory trim plate in order to secure the retaining fasteners.

  9. Set up the radio. Refer to Radio Setup .
