July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Removal Procedure

    IMPORTANT: It is not necessary to completely remove the drive belt from the engine.
  1. Remove the accessory drive belt from the power steering pump pulley. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement in engine mechanical 3.5L or Drive Belt Replacement in engine mechanical 3.9 L.
  2. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in engine mechanical 3.5 L or Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in engine mechanical 3.9 L.

  4. Disconnect the power steering pressure hose from the pump.

  6. Disconnect the power steering return hose from the pump.
  7. Remove the engine electrical harness from the reservoir retainers.

  9. Remove the power steering pump mounting bolts.
  10. Remove the power steering pump from the vehicle.
  11. Remove the power steering pump pulley from the pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacement .
  12. Remove the reservoir from the pump. Refer to Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement - Off Vehicle (CB Series) .
