Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution .

  1. Remove the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Record all of the vehicle preset radio stations.
  3. Ensure that all lamps and accessories are OFF.
  4. Ensure that the ignition switch is in the OFF position.
    5. CAUTION: Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT CAUTION .
  5. Loosen the negative battery cable (2) bolt.
  6. Remove the negative battery cable (3) from the battery.
