Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Saturn Ion Red Line. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
    IMPORTANT: When installing the bypass valve actuator to the supercharger, rotate the assembly until the bypass valve shaft lever comes in contact with the stop block.
  1. Rotate the bypass valve actuator until the rod engages the lever.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the bypass valve actuator bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Remove the bypass valve positioner from the bypass valve actuator. Discard.
  4. Install the vacuum hose to the bypass valve actuator.
