Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC)

Scan Tool Output Control Additional Menu Selections Description
Display Test Special Functions The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates all indicators when ON is selected for a few seconds and turns OFF after a few seconds or when OFF is selected.
DIC All Segment Test Special Functions The IPC illuminates all of the driver information center (DIC) segments and turns OFF all DIC segments after a few seconds or when OFF is selected
Dimming Special Functions The IPC increases or decreases the dimming intensity in increments of 20 percent between a range of 0-100 percent.
IPC Gage Sweep Test Special Functions The IPC drives all the gages at or above maximum for a few seconds when ON is selected and then drives all the gages at or below minimum after a few seconds or when OFF is selected
Engine Control Module (ECM)

Scan Tool Output Control Additional Menu Selections Description
Special Functions Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) The engine control module ECM commands the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) indicator ON and OFF.
