Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
    IMPORTANT: When installing a new DIS-ignition module it is not necessary to replace the gaskets.
  1. Install the DIS-ignition module (1) with KM-6009  . See Special Tools .
    • Replace the gaskets (2).

      Tighten:  Tighten the 2 bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

    • Install the DIS-ignition module cover.
  2. Connect the DIS-ignition module wiring harness plug.
  3. Connect the engine wiring trough to cylinder head.
  4. Close the hood.
