Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Battery Box Bolts

  1. Install the battery box (2) to the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the battery box bolts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  3. Connect any previously disconnected electrical harnesses to the battery box.

  4. Install the battery cable cooling air inlet duct (2).
  5. Install the battery cable cooling air inlet duct plastic retainer (1).
  6. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (Without LAT)  or Battery Replacement (With LAT) .
