Tire Pressure Indicator Receiver Programming and Setup

Tire Pressure Indicator Receiver Replacement/Reprogramming

When the tire pressure indicator receiver is replaced, the following procedures must be performed:

1. With a scan tool, perform the Reset ECU before removing the tire pressure indicator receiver.
2. After replacement, with a scan tool, perform the Program ECU and follow the screen prompts.
3. Upon programming completion, test drive the vehicle above 32 km/h (20 mph) until the scan tool Learn Status data parameter is displayed as Completed.

The tire pressure monitor system should now be functioning properly.
