Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
    2. WARNING: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning .
  2. Disconnect the battery.
    • Remove the negative connection from the ground terminal.
    • Loosen the nut.
  3. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the generator from the power supply.
    • Disconnect the generator from the power supply.
    • Remove the 2 nuts (1, 2).
  5. Remove the generator.

    Remove the 2 bolts (3, 4).
