Power Outlet Socket: Removal

  1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)  (See REMOVAL )
  2. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL  (See REMOVAL )
  3. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX COVER  (See REMOVAL )
  4. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  6. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE BOX  (See REMOVAL )
  7. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 6 claws and open the lower instrument panel.

    2. Disconnect the power outlet socket connector.

    3. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw, then turn the power outlet socket clockwise and push the power outlet socket halfway out.

    4. Align the protrusion of the power outlet socket with the cutout of the power outlet socket cover and then push the power outlet socket out.

  8. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the power outlet socket cover.
