Transmission Control Cable: Removal
- REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE CONSOLE BOX REAR COVER (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE BOX (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CENTER BRACE (See REMOVAL )
- DISCONNECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR CONNECTOR
- REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR
- Remove the 2 bolts and nut and remove the front No. 1 floor heat insulator.
- REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the control shift cable from the shift lever.
- Remove the clip and disconnect the control select cable from the shift lever.
- Turn the adjust nut 180° clockwise. While holding the adjust nut, separate the control cable assembly.
- Remove the 2 clips and the 2 washers, and disconnect the 2 cables from the transaxle.
- Remove the 2 clips and disconnect the 2 cables from the control cable bracket.
- Remove the 3 nuts and remove the transmission control cable.
