Front Speed Sensor: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL 
  2. REMOVE ROCKER PANEL MOLDING COVER  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 1
  3. REMOVE SIDE MUDGUARD  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
  5. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR

    1. Disengage the clamp A from the body.
    2. Disconnect the speed sensor connector.
    3. Disengage the clamps B, C and D from the body.
    4. Remove the bolt and separate the No. 2 sensor clamp from the body.
    5. Remove the bolt and separate the No. 1 sensor clamp from the shock absorber.
    6. Remove the bolt and remove the speed sensor from the steering knuckle.
      NOTE:
      • Keep the speed sensor tip and installation portion free of foreign matter.
      • Remove the speed sensor without turning it from its original installation angle.
