Input Signal of Sensor to ABS Control Unit

1. Disconnect connector, then raise and support vehicle.
2. Measure voltage between ABS control unit terminals according to Trouble Codes. For Trouble Code 7 measure between terminals 24 and 26, Trouble Code 8 between terminals seven and nine. Voltage specifications should be between 200 and 300 mV at a creep with automatic transmission.
3. Disconnect ABS control unit connector P12 on except SVX models or connector R7 on SVX models, measure resistance between sensor and ground on terminals 9 and 26. Resistance should be one M ohm minimum.
4. To check sensor resistance measure between terminals one and two for Trouble Code 7 and 8. Resistance should be .8-1.3 k ohms.
5. Measure resistance between connector P20 terminal 1 and connector P26 terminal 1 and ground on except SVX models. On SVX models, measure between connector R36 terminal 1 and connector P18 terminal one and ground. Resistance should be at least one M ohm.
