- Turn ignition off. Disconnect ABS hydraulic unit harness connector. Measure resistance between hydraulic unit terminals. See CHECKING SOLENOID VALVE CIRCUIT RESISTANCE table. See Figure
. Resistance should be about 3-5 ohms. If resistance is as specified, go to next step. If resistance is not as specified, replace hydraulic unit.

- Reconnect hydraulic unit connector. Ensure ABS/TCS connectors are disconnected. Measure resistance between terminal No. 6 at ABS/TCS connector 16-pin connector and ABS/TCS control unit 6-pin and 8-pin connectors as specified. See ABS/TCS CONTROL UNIT CIRCUITS

. If resistance is 5-7 ohms, replace ABS/TCS control unit. If resistance is not 5-7 ohms, repair wiring harness as necessary.
