Fuel Systems

When servicing the fuel system observe the following cautions:
1. Put a "CAUTION: FLAMMABLE" sign in the workshop.
2. Furnish the shop with the proper fire extinguisher.
3. Disconnect battery ground cable before any service work is done.
4. Place a suitable container under the connection to be opened.
5. Slowly open fuel connections and catch spilled fuel in container.
6. Disconnect line or hose, then plug all fittings.
7. Put any drained fuel in an explosive-proof container and put the lid on securely.
