Propeller Shaft: Installation

  1. Insert the sleeve yoke into the transmission and attach center bearing to body.
    1. Tightening torque:  52 N.m (5.3 kgf-m, 38.3 ft-lb)

  2. Align the matching marks and connect the flange yoke and rear differential.
    1. Tightening torque: 

      2003->  31 N.m (3.2 kgf-m, 23.1 ft-lb)

      2004->  38 N.m (3.9 kgf-m, 28.3 ft-lb)

  3. Install the differential mount front cover.
    1. Tightening torque: 

      2003->  88 N.m (9.0 kgf-m, 65 ft-lb)

      2004->  90 N.m (9.2 kgf-m, 66 ft-lb)

  4. Install the rear differential protector. (If equipped)
  5. Install the rear exhaust pipe and muffler.
