Select Lever: Removal

- Set the vehicle on a lift.
- Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
- Move the select lever to "N" position
- Lift-up the vehicle.
- Remove the rear exhaust pipe and muffler.
Except 2.5 L U5 model

2.5 L U5 model
Refer to REMOVAL , Rear Exhaust Pipe and REMOVAL , Muffler.
3.0 L model
Refer to REMOVAL , Rear Exhaust Pipe and REMOVAL , Muffler.
TURBO model
- Remove the heat shield cover. (If equipped)
- Disconnect the cable from select lever, and then remove the cable bracket.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the console box. Refer to REMOVAL , Console Box.
- Disconnect the connectors, then remove the four bolts to take out the select lever assembly from body.
