Arming System With Remote Transmitter

- Close all windows and moon roof (if so equipped). Remove key from ignition switch. Open door(s) and exit the vehicle.
- Make sure engine hood is locked. Close all doors and the rear gate.
- Briefly press LOCK/ARM button (for less than 2 seconds). All doors (and rear gate) will lock. Horn will sound once, parking lights will flash once, and indicator light will flash slowly (approximately once every 2 seconds). See Fig 1 .
If any door or rear gate is not properly closed, the horn sounds 3 times, the parking lights flash 3 times, and the indicator light flashes rapidly. Once closed, the system will automatically arm and all doors will automatically lock.
