This bulletin provides advisory information.





During OBD I/M Check, emission inspectors should use generic scan tools, which can retrieve stored vehicle information with the table shown communication protocols for 2006 model Subaru vehicles.

Please consult Subaru Bulletin 11-72-04 for recommended readiness code set procedures for 1997 and newer Subaru vehicles as well as the proper scan tool communication protocol for 2004-2005 Subaru models.
