Section 15 (Starting System & Charging System (H4DO)): Generator: Removal

Remove the V-belt covers.

Disconnect the ground cable from battery.

Remove the V-belts. < Refer to REMOVAL , V-belt. >
Remove the V-belt cover bracket.

Disconnect the connector (A) and terminal (B) from the generator.

Remove the idler pulley from the chain cover.

Remove the generator from the bracket.

Remove the generator bracket from the generator.
