Combination Switch (Light): Removal

- Set the tire to the straight-ahead position.
- Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. <Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Repair Contents.>
- Remove the driver's airbag module. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Driver's Airbag Module.>
- Remove the steering wheel. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Steering Wheel.>
- Remove the cover assembly - column.
- Release the clips, and remove the cover assembly - steering UPR.
- Remove the screws.
- Release the claw, and remove the cover assembly - column UPR and the cover assembly - column LWR.
- Remove the steering roll connector. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Roll Connector.>
- Remove the combination switch (wiper). <Ref. to REMOVAL , Combination Switch (Wiper).>
- Remove the switch assembly - combination turn dimmer.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Using pliers, loosen the clamp.
- With the clamp loosened, release the claw using a flat tip screwdriver, and remove the switch assembly - combination turn dimmer.
