Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. <Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Repair Contents.>
Remove the trim panel assembly - rear shelf. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Rear Shelf Trim.>
Remove the light assembly - high-mounted.
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Remove the lock washers and remove the high-mounted stop light.
